A good ten years ago I used to be a very successful poetry blogger. I was independent and working like a mule.

I used to update many times a day – and even the biggest national broadcasters and newspapers were reading. I was heavily influenced and connected to my fellow bloggers, colleagues, to say, a word I learned from them.

The network was amazing! We were making each other’s lives much easier by just simply leaving each other poetic and cryptic examples of how and why to write, and how to perceive the tricky business of poetry. Sometimes the poems were more like personal notes you could follow back and forth by simply reading the blog posts on the same day.

It was much like writing to a newspaper with an encoded language. We met up quite many times, in vents, and had a blast trying to outsmart each other…
